Wegerer, Arthur2008-06-12 Arthur Sebastian Wegerer, age 91, Nevada, MO, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Moore Few Care Center following a long and fulfilling life. He was born August 14, 1916 in Leeds, Missouri to Sebastian Wegerer & Emilie Fischbacher.Arthur grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Central High School. He worked as a retail meat salesman for the Rodeo Meat Company as well as a butcher for various local businesses even after retirement. Survivors include one daughter, Judith Kay Mulqueen, her husband Joseph and their children: Penny & Dan Drager, Debbie & John Gamm, Jim Mulqueen, Margaret & Sean Manzke, their children Seamus & Ainelise; and Micheal Mulqueen all of Wisconsin. Survivors also include one granddaughter, Jenifer Michelle Gast, her husband Bryan and their children: Alexandra Nicole & Brayden Douglas, all of Nevada. As well as two grandsons, Steven Platt and Robert Dale Platt and his children Joe Platt and Jeremy & Jenny Platt, and their children Courtney and Emily. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Wegerer and daughter Janet Ann Platt as well as two brothers and one sister. Following cremation there will be a graveside service at Moore Cemetery at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Those who wish may contribute to the Arthur S. Wegerer Memorial FFA Scholarship Fund in care of Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
