Wight, Alethea M.2005-10-30 Alethea M. Wight, the daughter of Riley Elmer & Delight Lynn Andrew, was born on August 29, 1911, and passed away on October 30, 2005 at Moore-Few Care Center at 94 years of age. She was a longtime resident of Nevada, Missouri.She was united in marriage to Talbot Wight on August 5, 1936 in Nevada, Missouri and he preceded her in death in April 2002. Mrs. Wight was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Athena’s, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include three sons, Jim Wight of Sugarland, Texas; Drew Wight of Las Vegas, Nevada; Tom Wight of Houston, Texas; several nieces and a nephew; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Erma Pohl and Helen George. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ralph Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Newton Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
