Johnson, Linda Sue2007-02-03 Linda Sue Johnson 56 years old, of Nevada passed away Saturday February 3rd, 2007. She was born September 18, 1949 in Cushing, Oklahoma to Don Starnes and Francis Weaver.Linda was raised by her grandparents after her mother passed away from cancer at a young age. She lived in Oilton, Oklahoma and later the Tulsa area with her aunt, Reba Carroll, whom she considered her mother. After school she attended cosmetology school and pursued a career as a hairdresser. She moved to the Nevada area in 1989 where she continued to work as a cosmetologist and was also employed by Wilkinson Pharmacy. She also visited many area nursing facilities where she donated her time and hairdressing skills. Linda married Danny Johnson in May of 1996 and spent her happiest years with him here in Nevada. Linda loved the Lord, her husband and children very much and she will remembered always by those that knew and loved her. Her survivors include her husband Danny Johnson of the home, two sons; Robert Chapman of Nevada, Missouri and Michael Chapman of Nevada, Missouri. She was preceded in death by one daughter Charletta Chapman. There will be a memorial service Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Reverend Donald Johnson officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideons or Nevada Pentecostal Assembly in care of Evergreen Memorial Chapel P.O. Box 894 Nevada, Missouri 64772. Services are under the direction of Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
