Hyder, Retta Mae2005-04-03 Retta Mae Hyder, the daughter of William Howard and Ida Mae Lawson Rowland, was born February 24, 1934 in Stockton, Missouri and passed away on Sunday April 3, 2005 at Nevada Regional Medical Center at 71 years of age.Mrs. Hyder was united in marriage to Virgil Lee Hyder on May 15, 1947 in Petaluma, California and he preceded her in death on August 6, 1971. She was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, Dennis Hyder, Danny Hyder, both of Nevada, MO, Larry Hyder of Wichita, KS; five daughters, Wanda “Susie” Clawson of Joplin, MO, Faye “Maggie” Grissom of Nevada, MO, Peggy Dunfield of Jasper, MO, Winona Hyder of Nevada, MO, Stephanie Siebert of Bronaugh, MO; two brothers, Robert Rowland of Cotati, CA, Larry Rowland of Nevada, MO; fifteen grandchildren, and thirty two great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and an infant son, Virgil Eugene Hyder. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday April 7, 2005 at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Burial will follow in Wagner Cemetery, Wagner, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
