Bailey, Henry "Joe"2005-05-22 Henry E. “Joe” Bailey, the son of Herbert & Lettie (Pippin) Bailey, was born on September 21, 1918 in Garland, Kansas and passed away on Sunday May 22, 2005 at Moore-Few Care Center at eighty six years of age.Mr. Bailey served in the Army during WWII. He was united in marriage to Sarah Jane Beaver on September 3, 1963. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Sarah; two sons, Joe E. Bailey of Nevada, Missouri, Victor Minnis of Raymore, Missouri; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth G. Minnis, one daughter, Francis K. Bailey, two brothers, and one sister. Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Newton Burial Park with Shelby Brant officiating. There will be no visitation.
