Gibson, Gary2008-04-09 Gary N. Gibson, 65 of Nevada, Missouri died at Mercy Hospital Ft. Scott, Kansas Wednesday April 9, 2008. He was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on April 14, 1942, to the late William and Rushia (Simpson) Gibson. He was married to Christine J. (Hastings) Gibson. They were married on May 11th, 2002 in Branson, Missouri. He lived in Nevada, Missouri for the past 6 years. Prior to that he lived in Oklahoma, Ohio, Texas, and Kentucky. He was an Over the road Truck Driver. And when younger he worked in the coal mines and drove truck in Kentucky. Served in the U.S. Army in 1963.Survivors are: Wife Christine Gibson; Nevada, Missouri, 2 sons; Hubert Gibson of Kentucky, Gary Gene of Oklahoma, 2 daughters; Leisa Castle of West Virginia, Rushia Grayson, Oklahoma, and 1 grand child, 3 brothers; Paul Ed Gibson, Paulding, Ohio, Joe Gibson, Ironton, Ohio, Paul Joseph Gibson, (little Joe), West Virginia, 3 sisters; Midge Gibson, Chatfield, Ohio, Betty Clark, Kingfork, Tennessee, Patsy Davis, Milton, West Virginia. He's preceded in death by 4 brothers; Danny Gibson, Ralph Allen Gibson, Estel Gibson, James Gibson, 2 sisters; Geneva Bailey, Floella Gibson. Memorial services are on April 19th, 2008 at 10:30am at Evergreen Funeral Home of Nevada, Missouri and then will be laid to rest in Boldman, Kentucky on July 4th, 2008.
