Alan Lee Rundell was born June15, 1957 and went to be with the Lord February 14, 2008. He was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Robert and Loretta Rundell. He graduated from Coweta High School, Eastern State College and OSU. He was also in the Civil Air Patrol in Missouri. He was on medical leave from 3M in Nevada, MO.

Alan was a Creek Indian. At an early age he accepted the Lord as his Savior and was baptized and joined the Shahan Freewill Baptist Church. He loved sports, hunting, fishing and woodcarving. He had many talents. He loved to tinker on old cars, jeeps and tractors.

His wife Tammy of the home, one daughter Geneva age 7, survives him. His parents Robert and Loretta Rundell, one sister Bobbie Cole of KS, One nephew Joshua Cole of Kansas City, one life long friend and brother Terry Hutson, special grandparents to his daughter Mike and Marge Holznagel. As well as a host of relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Evergreen Memorial Chapel on February 18, 2008 at 10:00am Lawrence Cripps will be officiating and Wes Morton will sing The Lords Prayer and Amazing Grace. Pallbearers will be Mike Holznagel, Duane Bryan, Rick Bevenue, Bill Koons, Gary Hawkins and Ken Rainey.

Immediately after the service he will be taken to Coweta, Oklahoma for a second memorial service on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Shahan Freewill Baptist Church under the direction of Wright Funeral Home. Rev. Lyn Moss will officiate and Jean Garrett will conduct the song service. Pallbearers will be Clay Kelley, Sheldon Lyndsey, Roger Friend, Chuck Kindley, Mark Watkins, and Terry Hutson. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Smith, Gordon Burrows, David Blair, Rick Stafford and Johnnie Kerr. Burial will be in the Shahan Cemetery, which was a part of his great grandmother Eva Nave Gill’s Indian allotment. He will be buried next to his grandparents Pete and Gladys Sanders.

Alan was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. His smile and talents will be missed by those who love him.
