Jones, Larry Dale2006-08-29 Larry Dale Jones, the son of Howard Haskel & Esta (Bennett) Jones, was born on September 28, 1950 in Wagoner, Oklahoma and passed away on August 29, 2006 at his home at 55 years of age. Mr. Jones was a longtime resident of the Vernon County area.Mr. Jones graduated high school in 1969. He was united in marriage to Valerie Mae Salkil on June 13, 1975 in Topeka, Kansas. Mr. Jones worked as a brick mason the majority of his life and much of his hard work is evident all around the area. He was also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Nevada. Survivors include his wife, Valerie of the home, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Jones of Nevada, Missouri, Matt Jones and Auna of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Melissa Jones and Eric of Fort Myers, Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dale Jones Jr. of Nevada, Missouri, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Jones of Bronaugh, Missouri; Daniel, David, Whitney and Jonathan Jones of the home, 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2006 at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating. Burial was in Newton Burial Park, Nevada, Missouri. The visitation was prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
