Breen, Norma Kathleen2005-07-12 Norma Kathleen Breen , the daughter of Sidney and Hazel (Glimpse) Norris, was born on September 7, 1921 in Nevada, Missouri and passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2005 at Moore-Few Care Center at 83 years of age. She was a longtime resident of Nevada.She was united in marriage to George M. Breen on June 10, 1944 in Fort Scott, Kansas and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2004. Mrs. Breen was a clerk at the Sale Barn for over fifty years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Norma was devoted to working with crafts in the UMC Women’s Circle and was especially involved in the Christmas Bazaar. She was a devoted wife and adored mother and grandmother and was the focal point of her family’s communications through her E-mails. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Breen and his wife, Loretta, of Dunkirk, Maryland, Gerald Breen and his wife, Mary Kay, of Charlottesville, Virginia; five grand-children, Michael, Megan, Shannon, David, and Amy Breen, and one great grandson, Ryan Breen. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ralph Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Newton Burial Park. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday until the hour of service.
